  • This new and innovative tool is a genuine problem solver for the dismantling and assembly of shock absorbers with tension stop springs.
Function of the tension stop springs:
  • The tension stop springs ensure that the shock absorber cannot be damaged, when stretching right up to the end stop.
  • The spring is located directly within the shock absorber and is not active when in neutral gear and in the pressure stage.
  • It only comes into effect at the end of the damper passage during the rebound stroke.
Removal procedure:
  • Strut completely removed
  • Dust boot or bump stop lifted
  • Piston rod degreased
  • Add clamping piece and secure in place
Advantage:
  • Piston rod only remains in this position during the clamping process and is not retracted.
Contents:
  • 1 x Telescopic basic unit with handle
  • 1 x Intermediate bearing with telescopic pipe receiving thread and handle
  • 1 x Uni-clamping piece with plastic jaw protector
